Writing-publishing
In the past we have been a substantial registered publisher and distributor of local and international action research methodology books and papers, including our own, such as Australia's bestselling introductory research and evaluation books Do It Yourself Social Research and Everyday Evaluation On The Run (both by Yoland Wadsworth 1997, in association with Allen & Unwin). However with the growing popularity of the field there are now many publishers and distributors of action research texts and we were able to step back from this.
Currently in a modest way we have resumed this role with our new imprint Action Research Press, for projects that will focus on publishing ARIA members' books and other writings. ARIA represents an association of 20-30 people who have been 'thinking together' for a very long time, and we hope to provide more of an insight into this special 'community of practice' in future.

Our second project (2011) will be to publish on-line, the written work of our former member, the late Caty Kyne, along with the work of other women writers.
In future we also plan to include here an annotated bibliography of some key current action research texts as well as pioneering classics plus their publishing details.
