Collective teaching-learning, workshops, conferences
In the past these have included:
'What is action research?'
‘What is participatory action research?’
‘Introduction to evaluation’
‘Rethinking community needs assessment’
‘Shifting the terrain from medical model to health promotion’
'Issues in disability research facilitation’, and
‘Staff-consumer dialogue about consumer mental health experience’
'Combining narrative, evaluation and action research'

Seminar on action research issues held at the launch of ARIC's association with
the ARIU @ Victoria University at Ross House on 16 February 2000
[Facilitator: Kelley Johnson]
We have also been involved in organising and participating in a range of conferences including the World Congress on Action Research in Ballarat Australia in 2000, and in Pretoria South Africa in 2003; and the ARP 'Research in Action' conference in 2002.
Individual members of the Association have some availability to facilitate workshops on action research and action evaluation, give guest lectures and develop and teach tertiary education research courses, but this too will be part of the work of the proposed 'consultancy circle' we will be developing over the coming year.
